How Adsense knows that You are clicking your own ads?

This question have been asked many times in forums and to post this I thought it million of times. Because some evil webmasters can take this piece of information to try to “fool” the big G. But let me tell you something, don’t be fool yourself and don’t try anything funny to game Google system, they will catch you! and in no time they will send you an email saying “Gotcha!”. Anyways, I love to analyse how companies system works and Google is one of my favorites as they are so “secret” to their stuffs. Here are some points on how Google can know that you clicked your own ads:

Gmail: When you have an account in Gmail, Google will easy track what you are doing. 

Any Google Tool: When you sign up with any Google API or Tool. Google will track what you are doing in the internet e.g. using the webmaster tool, they already know which sites you own and from their statistics data they know which sites you visit. 

Google Search: When you search from Google, then you are under the radar of the big G.

System Tray: Google knows what are in your system tray (don’t ask me how)

Resolution Screen: Google knows what is your screen resolution

Your PC : Google knows how is your pc (from CPU, RAM,etc..)

Your IP: Google knows what is your IP. Ok, you may say my IP changes every second howGoogle knows that? Remember, that Google knows your screen resouliton, your pc, what sites you visit, they are worst than CIA or FBI

The way you enter your site: If you want to click an ad from your site, what you will do? Just add in your browser your URL and then click an AD. Let’s say you delete your cookies, change pc, change IP and everything and then you say “ha-ha I will full Google”. Then you click your AD. Then Google check and see that this computer is brand new! no cookies, no temporarly internet files and joined your site to click an AD. This is suspicious to Google and anyone!

There are many other ways that Google can catch you about cheating their system. You know Google makes billions of dollars from their advertisers and they are happy for it. So their main goal is to protect their advertisers before the publishers. They will not have mercy for you as publisher if you are a cheater. So take care and don’t be fool trying to fool the big “G”. If you see any click fraud attempt in your adsense account contact Google inmediatly.

Block adsense Junk Ads and make your earning double

When you see every thing is ok in your site but your adsense earning is dropping day by day.What's the reason? answre is adsense sending lots of junk ads  to your site. if you want to get rid of this type of situation then you need to identify them correctly .Now question is how to identify junk ads? if you not read our post " How to identify adsense LCPC/MFA Junk Ads : cause of your poor earning"read that. it will explain all the ways to identify junk ads. 1.Go to adblacklist and register  a new account.Then login  

2.Submite your site url with proper keywords

3. Generate blacklist

4.Copy the list and pest it  Competitive Ad Filter  area of your adsense account and block them

How to identify adsense LCPC/MFA Junk Ads : cause of your poor earning

If your Adsense earning per day drop suddenly while the site traffic remains stable or even on the uptrend, most likely there are too many junk ads appear on your account!Junk ads used to be low-cost-per-click (LCPC) ads that lead readers to made-for-ads (MFA) websites which are 99.99% classified as link farm, splog, nonsense, etc.Hare is a picture of a MFA:

See above picture it is perfect made for ads (MFA) So now the question is how you can identify  the ads of your site  are junk or not . you can not  click your own ads to find out. hare i show you some example

Now I tell you about some comon characteristics of those Junk Ads related sites:

1. With a zero Google Pagerank

2. With a really simple and plain web template / theme design - the web design looks like a homework of novice who have just completed the first day of web development course.

3. There is no About or Contact page that can convince readers about the site history or trustworthy value.

4. Redirect readers to another URL that is different from the URL shown in the ads.

5. The same web theme / template used among few tens of URLs that own by the same entity!

6. Made-for-ads (MFA) link farm - full of ads and links that point visitors to other less popular websites.

7. URL with misspell word (e.g affiliate as affilate, junction as junktion, etc), long domain name and/or with dash symbol, etc.

8. Using free hosting site example Blogger or Wordpress

Other than these manual ways to identify LCPC junk ads, there is a web service that used to automatically identify and update the list of junk ads in your Adsense account!

Why your adsense earning is so poor : change it $1000 per month

Lots of adsense user use to ask the same question,Why my adsense earning is so poor or why my adsense earning is going down or How to boost my adsense earnin or how to increase my adsense revenue etc. etc. But answre is same Improve your contents,make your site attractive,use better color blend for your ad unite, improve linkback etc. But sometime you and your contents are not responsible . 1. Concentrating on one format of Adsense ad. The one format that worked well for the majority is the Large Rectangle (336X280). This same format has the tendency to result in higher CTR, or the click-through rates. Why choose this format out of the many you can use? Basically because the ads will look like normal web links, and people, being used to clicking on them, click these types of links. They may or may not know they are clicking on your Adsense but as long as there are clicks, then it will all be for your advantage.

2. Create a custom palette for your ads. Choose a color that will go well with the background of your site. If your site has a white background, try to use white as the color of your ad border and background. The idea to patterning the colors is to make the Adsense look like it is part of the web pages. Again, This will result to more clicks from people visiting your site.

3. Remove Adsense from the bottom pages of your site and put them at the top. Do not try to hide your Adsense. Put them in the place where people can see them quickly. You will be amazed how the difference between Adsense locations can make when you see your earnings.

4. Maintain links to relevant websites. If you think some sites are better off than the others, put your ads there and try to maintaining and managing them. If there is already lots of Adsense put into that certain site, put yours on top of all of them. That way visitor will see your ads first upon browsing into that site.

5. Try to automate the insertion of your Adsense code into the webpages using SSI (or server side included). Ask your web administrator if your server supports SSI or not. How do you do it? Just save your Adsense code in a text file, save it as “adsense text”, and upload it to the root directory of the web server. Then using SSI, call the code on other pages. This tip is a time saver especially for those who are using automatic page generators to generate pages on their website.

Remove all Publec Service Ads(PSA)permanently from your adsense

First of all we need to know actually what is Public service ads(PSA)?The ads don't generate any revenue identified as public service ads(PSA). Hare is a sample of PSA:
When you see this type of ads in your adsense unite. you can be 100% sure about that this will not generate any earning though you have 100 clicks.Now you can ask my why I get this type of ads. from my point of view most common reason is google system has not yet crawled the page and your content does not match any of their ads. So you need to fix couple of things i mentioned below:

Develop sufficient good content with keywords on your web page related to the topic of interest. Google is a great fan of good content websites.

Ensure that META tags like ‘title’ & ‘description’ and the headings tags like h1, h2 etc. have content which matches the rest of your site. They are main ways google judges your pages content.

Add specific keywords in your text which will help the google bot to determine and understand the content of your website. Repeat related keywords which will better help to understand site content. Do not fill your page with simlarkeywords, it might work against your favour.

Try to keep the entire website focused on a particular theme, so that even if the content on a particular page is lesser, the ads wil show.

Do not place multiple ad units if there are not suffcient ads to display on all of them. Also Google TOS do not allow placing more than 3 ad units on a page.

Use section targeting - you can target an ad unit to a specific section of your blog, as well as block out irrelevant sections like navigational links. Useful to get more targeted ads.

most of the times the ads show immediately, but sometime it takes upto 48-72 hours for google to assess the content of newly created webpage. This usually occurs if your site has not been indexed before by Google.So wait........

Why there is no earning in your adsense account

Adsense users sometime have to face two type of earning problem.One is no earning and another is Poor earning Hare I will explain why people don't have any earning in their account when there is lots of clicks and imprssion. Number one and most common reason is PSA (Public service ad).Now What is PSA, how to identify PSA or how to get rid of them .Don't ask me now these type of question because I discuss about it in detail in our PSA ralated post "Remove all Publec Service Ads(PSA)permanently from your account".Read the post latter, now you should learn all the reasons why your earning is "O".I have listed most comon causes below :

• Your system has not yet crawled all the pages of your website.
• Your crawler can't reach your site.
  
• Your page may contain sensitive content for which relevant paying ads will not be displayed.
  
• Your account may be disapproved or awaiting review.
  
• Your site has restricted access using a robots.txt exclusion.
  
• Your website is using session IDs in the URL.
  
• Your website is using frames.
  
• Your ad unit is set to display image ads only.
  
• Your web page may not contain enough content.
  
• The AdSense ad code was placed within an IFRAME.
  
• Your web pages are behind a login.
  
• There are too many URLs added to your account filter list.
  
• Your site content is primarily in an unsupported language.
  
• Your ad code has been modified.
  
• Your page contains a refresh tag.
  

Two important notes to also be aware of:

1. The Google crawler indexes by URL and therefore considers http://site.com and http://www.site.com different URLs. Because their crawler will visit these URLs separately, you may notice ads appear differently on these pages.
2. The Google crawlers are unable to derive meaning from any of the following:
   audio and video files (.wma, .mpeg, .mov) mp3 files (.mp3) images (.jpeg, .bmp) macromedia Flash movies Java Applets

There are plenty of topics that you should avoid, but honestly, most of them are unlikely to be a topic of your page, site or weblog anyway.

One more thought: log in to your Google AdSense area, then click on Reports --> Site Diagnostics and make sure that there aren't any problems with your site. Here's what you should see:

If you still can't figure out what's going on, don't forget that you can always email the AdSense support team(adsense-support@google.com) and ask for advice. I have emailed them a number of times and found that they're quite responsive, though it can take a few days...Good luck .

How to Click your own Adsense ADs

In this article I will show you how you can click your own adsense ad without going against adsense TOS .But first i want to explain when and why you  need to do so. According to adsense Program Policies Clicks on Google ads must result from genuine user interest. Any method that artificially generates clicks or impressions on your Google ads is strictly prohibited. These prohibited methods include but are not limited to repeated manual clicks or impressions, using robots, automated click and impression generating tools, third-party services that generate clicks or impressions such as paid-to-click, paid-to-surf, autosurf, and click-exchange programs, or any deceptive software. Please note that clicking on your own ads for any reason is prohibited. Failure to comply with this policy may lead to your account being disabled.
Now the question is if you accidentally click your own adsense when you working with your new site or blog or in time of checking the links those are close to your adsense unites , what to do? because you are 100% honest, you haven't done anything willingly.


As an honest Adsense publisher, you are likely to send an email to Google Adsense support with the URL of the web page where you clicked your own ads and probably the reason .Unless any time your account can be disabled. When you submit a confession you will get a response from adsense support centre.

Here's a standard response from Adsense support when publishers make honest confessions:

Thanks for letting us know about the clicks on your ads. We appreciate your honesty and your efforts to keep your account in good standing.Although publishers are not permitted to click on their own ads for any reason, we do understand that accidental clicks may occur, so we don't require that you contact us every time you click on your ads.

But the accidental click can happen again and again with you,How many time you submit your apology ?
I have a symple solution of this problem. All you have to do is add “google_adtest = ‘on’;” to your ad code using the following syntax:

google_ad_client = “pub-xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx";
google_ad_width = 468;
google_ad_height = 60;
google_ad_format = “468×60_as”;
google_ad_type = “text”;
google_ad_channel =””;
google_adtest = ‘on’;
; where xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx is your Publisher ID.

Now you are in test mode . Impressions or clicks on that particular modified Adsense ad unit will be ignored and now you can work with your new site, check your link,even youcan click your own adsense ad. No problem. After your checking  don't forget to remove google_adtest = ‘on’; from your adsense ad unite code.
